Fitness? Fitness in the Bakken? hahahaha. While I have seen a few brave souls out there, I won’t be walking or running or anything in between on ice and snow. That’s out. The nearest fitness gym is too far to bother especially when we are juggling one car right now and well, work takes priority. One of the first things you hear about if you start talking about moving here is what it costs to live. Why people will charge you 50,000 a month in rent! This coming from people who have never been here. It is expensive, yes. But I would like to put things into perspective for a family coming here. Single people will be paying much less in regards to rent and often times they might find company housing or their per diem will pay for their rent. You have to remember too that most families are coming here because they just are not making it back home. Maybe they are making it but they are one disaster away from bankruptcy.
