I learned a new lesson today. Don’t order liquids if the temperature is consistently below freezing. This invites disaster. I ordered a bottle of syrup among other things and now I smell like syrup along with everything else because the bottle burst in the box. We’ve seen some pretty cold days this week. Real temps pushing negative 20. Wind chill temps near negative 50. Get caught out unprepared and it can kill you within 30 minutes. As impressive as these numbers are, this kind of cold does not last long. Today we are in the high 20’s and will be in the 30’s for the rest of the week. The winters can be tough but I have found that almost every place I have lived has some aspect of the weather I don’t like.
